Become a pioneer for barrier-free internet!

54 million customers1 look forward to seeing you. "Accessibility Tool" is the solution!

The internet is freely accessible to (almost) everyone - though not all are able to use it. Even the smallest shortcomings of your website, such as a font that is too small, can be major obstacles for people with physical disabilities. An accessible website is mandatory under the The Barrier-Free Strengthening Act (BSFSG) Act. Become a pioneer for an inclusive Internet with our "Accessibility Tool" plugin.

Primary target groups for accessible design

With "Accessibility Tool", we have developed the claim to make the Internet usable for everyone. The focus is on four target groups:

  1. Old people (In the US, over 37 million people are over 70 years old).2
  2. People with visual impairments (The United States is home to approximately 33.69 million individuals with visual impairments.).3
  3. People with physical disabilities (Over 42.5 million individuals in the United States possess a physical disability).4
  4. Dyslexics (Up to 40 million American adults have a reading or spelling disorder in adulthood).5

Our goal: Accessibility on the web

Information on the Barrier-free Freedom Reinforcement Act (BSFSG)

Each Member State in the EU has a different requirement for web accessibility. This leads to ambiguities and disadvantages depending

depending on the member state.
With the help of the BSFSG, a uniform EU directive with clear technical requirements for an accessible website is being created.
The aim is to strengthen domestic markets and make products more competitive.

From 2025, the EU directive will apply to all companies that sell products and services via the internet within Europe. Micro-enterprises (companies with fewer than 10 employees and an annual turnover or an annual balance sheet total of no more than EUR 2 million) are exempt from this directive.
